Do you Know? That before July 1837 the only place to be married legally was in the Anglican Church. However, not everyone bothered about the civil legality of the ceremony they used and would have used the one that suited them, some had C of E and the RC ceremonies. The C of E for the legal aspects and the RC for the religious ones. |
